Picture
In 2003 the family Binotto acquired the winery Quinta Montes, located in Urupema - SantaCatarina - in one of the highest and coldest points in Brazil which provides a suitable terroir for the growth of high quality grapes. The family initiated a research project for the future planting of grapes and the wine production.

Brought together expertise in your team and went to get references in the international market and producing world class wines.

Two years of intense research and studies, sensitivity and vision of the future were to support for the formation of the Santo Emilio Winery, whose vocation  is the production of fine wines.

The goal of the winery for the next five years is to plant 40 hectares of vineyards for the production of red wines, white and sparkling. In addition to the growth of the wine production, the company initiated a project to build one of the most modern wineries in the country, at Fazenda Quinta Montes. One of the focuses of this project is the development of wine tourism in the hills of Santa Catarina.
