HEALTH BENEFITS OF WINE

Picture
The consumption of red wine is being increasingly recommended by doctors. It is that researches shows resveratrol (antioxidant found in grapes) as an ally against heart disease and even cancer. "Wine is becoming an everyday ingredient for those seeking health," says cardiologist Fernando Lucchese, the Santa Casa de Porto Alegre (Brazil).

And the good news does not stop there. Study of the Johns Hopkins University - USA, have discovered that the consumption of red wine may protect the brain against damage from a stroke. It was also revealed that national red wines are among the highest concentration of this substance, whose regular consumption is also related to longevity. Learn about the benefits of the drink.

8 health benefits of wine:

·       System Urinary protected

The wine reduces by 60% the risk of urinary stone formation.

·       View · safe and sound

Its antioxidant action decreases the ocular degeneration, a common cause of blindness in the elderly.

·       End Alzheimer's

Its components avoiding the aging of brain cells, reducing the risk of diseases like Alzheimer's.

·       Strengthening of bones

The drink improves bone density, reducing the risk of osteoporosis.

·       Iron against anemia

A glass of red wine contains, on average, 0.5 mg of iron. With alcohol, the body best absorbs the mineral responsible for combating anemia.

·       Remedy for cases of herpes

Research by U.S. scientists suggests that resveratrol prevents the multiplication of the virus that causes herpes.

·       Clearance of blood vessels

The substance also prevents the oxidation of bad cholesterol, which is accumulated in the arteries and can cause heart attack or stroke.

·       Brake tumors

Resveratrol also controls the body's free radicals, inhibiting genetic mutations that lead to the development of tumors.

And the best news of the year - According to U.S. researchers, the drink helps to prevent gain weight.

The researchers asked 19,220 women with healthy weight what they were use to drink. Of this total, 38% said they did not drink any alcohol. In the 13 years of follow-up, this was the group that gained weight. The survey allowed the researchers to conclude therefore that the more a woman drinks, the less weight it gains. But women who drank red wine gained less than those who drank beer and spirits.

Those responsible for the study, which was published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, said more studies are needed and that it is still impossible to establish a secure connection between alcohol consumption and weight loss, however it is still a good news!!!!

Always drink with responsibility. Cheers!
