Portal del Priorat

Portal del Priorat was founded in 2001 by the ambitions architect Alfredo Arribas. The vineyards are located in the triangle between the hill-Molar-Bellmunt Lloar. The work is divided in three of the Portal projects which includes Clos, Gotes and Trosos. Gotes is the latest project of the Portal del Priorat wine, born with the 2008 vintage. The land is hilly, consisting of shale and oriented north, north-west, the vineyards are occupied by recent and Grenache, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon are made with organic methods. The grapes are harvested between the end of September and first week of October, while the wine is matured in barriques of French oak.
